EIRIS Foundation Event - Responsible investment and endowment value: natural partners or a contradiction in terms?
Date: 20 & 21 July 2010
Time: 17.00 on 20 July – 17.00 on 21 July
Location: Windsor (near London) England
Venue: St George’s House, Windsor Castle, England
An invitation-only event
CEOs, CIOs, trustees and other senior staff from leading foundations are invited to attend an invitation-only roundtable forum on the link between responsible investment and maintaining endowment value.
This forum will provide an opportunity to raise and discuss questions in confidence as the event will be conducted under Chatham House Rule. The forum is kindly sponsored by CCLA and supported by the Association of Charitable Foundations.
Likely areas for discussion include:
- the case for responsible investment (RI) and the perceived obstacles to engaging in RI
- foundations, mission and long-term financial security looking forward
- how other asset owners are performing and how this can inform foundations
- the practicalities on getting started with RI
- how to plan for the long-term in an ever-changing world.
Held in the beautiful and tranquil venue of Windsor Castle, the forum provides an informal and confidential setting in which delegates can share and compare their views, perceptions and practices on responsible investment.
This is an invitation-only forum and it is open only to senior representatives from foundations. Space is limited. To express your interest in attending this event please email events@eiris.org or call +44 (0) 207 840 5722.
