Australia
- CAER - Corporate Analysis. Enhanced Responsibility
CAER was established in 2000, and offers responsible investment research services to investors on a broad range of environmental, social and governance criteria. CAER's database covers the top 300 companies in Australia by market capitalisation, companies that move in and out of the ASX on a regular basis, smaller listed companies invested in by research clients, and the NZ50. CAER is an independent not-for-profit organisation based in Canberra. Through its links with international research bodies, CAER is able to offer clients consistent ESG research coverage of investment markets in Australia and around the globe.
Germany
- imug - Institut fuer Markt-Umwelt-Gesellschaft
Imug was set up in 1992 primarily as an environmental research body. Imug now provides both consultancy and ESG research for green and ethical funds and also reports on corporate environmental and social performance for NGOs, government and others. Imug supplies EIRIS with data on German, Swiss and Austrian companies.
Israel
- Greeneye
Greeneye is the primary provider of independent research into the social, environmental and ethical performance of companies in Israel. Greeneye advises the financial sector on assimilating environmentally considerate thinking and incorporating environmental criteria into decision making on investment, finance and insurance issues. Greeneye is EIRIS' research partner in Israel and is the environmental advisor to the Maala CSR Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Index.
Spain
- Fundacion Ecologia y Desarrollo (EcoDes)
An established Spanish non governmental organisation in the field of environment and development, EcoDes branched out into ethical investment research in 1997. Initially established to supply data to an environmental fund set up by EcoDes, EcoDes research function now provides ESG data to EIRIS on Spanish, Portugese and emerging market companies. Economistas sin Fronteras is a sales partner for EIRIS. Economistas sin Fronteras works with EIRIS to develop the market for responsible investment and also to promote and support EIRIS’ products and services in Spain.
Mexico
- Ecovalores
Established in 2000, Ecovalores is an environmental and SRI consulting firm based in Mexico City that works to advance sustainable development in the region. Ecovalores' mission is to finance sustainable development. It has established itself as a link between sustainable projects and investors who are concerned about our society’s social and environmental problems. In 2003, Ecovalores, in partnership with the Monex Financial Group, created the first environmental trust fund. And in 2006, Ecovalores, Monex, and CONANP created a successful savings and investment instrument designed to support nature conservation: the Fondos Verdes (Green Funds). Ecovalores supplies EIRIS with data on Mexican companies.
South Africa
- University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB)
In South Africa, EIRIS local research partner is the University of Stellenbosch Business School (USB) in Cape Town. The Business school's Unit of Corporate Governance in Africa works with EIRIS to conduct the company analysis for the 2010 JSE Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) Index.
USB supplies EIRIS with data on South African companies.
South Korea
KOCSR (Korea CSR Research Services)
In Korea, EIRIS' local research partner is KOCSR. KOCSR is an independent research organisation established by NGOs and a charitable foundation. It provides clients with non-financial information on governance and environmental issues, including stakeholders analysis.
KOCSR researches Korean, Hong Kong/Singapore and Chinese companies for EIRIS.
